Price: $783.23

You are bidding on a one-of-a-kind artist rendering by Malcolm J. Dashiell for a sculpture he designed in the 1960's which now stands at the University of Akron in Ohio.
Photo #2 is a current photo of this iconic sculpture, which I found on flickr.com
The original sculpture was a rust color ("international orange"?), and it's euphoric shape was likely in response to the work of Dashiell's peers such as Alexander Calder, Richard Serra, etc.
This modernist drawing is a great match for your Bertoia, Eames, Panton or Saarinen furniture of the 60's, or Alexander Calder artwork. Size: 16" x 26" Signed: MJ Dashiell, lower right Framed: Matted, and frame in a period welded aluminum frame. Condition: Good. Drawing has what appears to be some residual adhesive from original use, in left corner.
Frame is old and has scratches etc. Needs to be polished and cleaned up. These custom welded aluminum frames are quite expensive, and hard to find these days.
