The murano glass ball and light citrine quartz dangle earrings were created to match the huge citrine necklace.
The smaller size of citrine was used for earrings to maintain their lightness.

I use them in number of designs and always get many compliments.
They have this mysterious feel about them.
The color is so rich, and nice silver leaf murano effect is fabulous. They go great with any silver jewelry.

The second birthstone of November is Citrine.
Citrine is a variety of quartz with a color range of pale yellow to brown.
It is nearly impossible to tell cut citrine from yellow topaz visibly.
Much of the natural citrine may have started out as amethyst crystals
but heat from nearby volcanoes and other magmatic sources may have caused the change to citrine.
The name is derived from Latin "citrina" which means "yellow".
