Vintage Gibson A-style Mandolin

Serial number 12482

Note:  The closest I can ascertain the year by using the Gibson website against the serial number is c. 1908 to c. 1912.  (c. means circa or best guess)

A very playable instrument, not just a wall hanger.  This mandolin is over 100 years old.  Everything on this instrument is solid.  The frets are in good shape and there are no cracks of seam separations.  The tuners are fine with the exception one is bent very slightly.  There is no headstock inlay making be believe this is from around 1905-1908.  The pick-guard is very nice and the back has one small scratch.  I installed new strings and it comes with a new hard-case.
