Very Good condition overall. FINE & UNREAD Internally. Leather is very fresh and supple. Hinges fully attached and sound. These are all still very tightly bound and try to close when opened. There is only some general external rubbing along the spines, and usage wear, as shown in the pictures. Exceptionally durable. Bright, clean interior, printed on high quality rag style paper. Practically free of any foxing. Internal hinge paper may have some wear in a couple volumes. All tightly bound and exceptionally well-preserved. No previous signs of ownership.
Each volume contains a frontispiece protected by tissue. A very high quality collection of Carlyle's complete works.
