Bound in ornate gilded leather of the highest quality. Skillfully bound by The prestigious Riviere & Son Bindery and signed by them. With the original cloth bindings bound into the rear, as shown in the pictures.

Marbled boards and end-papers. Ornate gilded spine with raised hubs. Top edge gilded. A tall set at 9'' tall. Complete in one and two volumes, respectively. 3-volumes total, complete.

Condition: VERY GOOD, MINT+ condition. Hinges are Very fresh, sound, and fully attached. Some light general rubbing. Clean interior. Near free of foxing. Leather armorial bookplates. Highly collectible condition in every aspect.
