In Very Good, Near MINT+ condition throughout. Some light general wear, an inkspot on the cover as shown, and an early owner's inscription dated 1875. The paper is a high quality and is very clean.
The illustrator, Thomas Nast, was a famous caricaturist and editorial cartoonist in the 19th century and is considered to be the father of American political cartooning.
This is a very attractive copy of Robinson Crusoe and it is illustrated by a famous illustrator. Nice, early copies of Robinson Crusoe are difficult to obtain.
This book would make an excellent gift and/or addition to any collection.
