The leather binding is in NEW, FINE, and MINT+ Condition, as this is a custom new leather binding. Hinges are new and will last a very long time. This book can easily be opened without risking damaging the hinges. Bound in such fine leather, this book will display beautifully. Leather is exceptionally fresh and supple. Hinges fully attached and sound. Hinges try to close when opened. Near Very Good internally, but with general usage wear. Interior shows some signs of usage, minor stains, title page had some restoration around the very edges not affecting text (as shown in the pictures), some light foxing. All text clear and present. No writing or signs of previous ownership.
