Hawthorne, Nathaniel. The Scarlet Letter. Bound in the original full leather with the original slipcase. Decorative end papers. Slipcase is 6 3/8". London and Glasgow, Collins Clear-Type Press, no date, ca. 1920. 320 pages, thin paper. Illustrated frontis. In fine condition, crisp and unread. Blank front end paper is price clipped at top corner. No writing but for an early name. Book has been very well preserved in its slipcase and the binding is in flawless condition. Slipcase does show wear. A fine copy of the book.
