VERY GOOD, Near MINT condition. Hinges fully attached and sound. Leather is very supple and fresh. These are all very tightly bound and try to close when opened. These are the highest quality full-leather bindings and the binders spared no expense in their production. These were bound by the prestigious Birdsall & Son bindery. Some general rubbing. Bright interior. Some minor foxing, more prevalent on the first few pages. Early name on end-paper. Printed on high quality paper that will last. Publisher's marginal notes aid in reading.
