These are very large and heavy books. These measure 9.25 inches tall. These are very thick and heavy books. Bound in very high quality moroccan leather which is very fresh and well-preserved. Hinges are all very fresh and fully intact, these can be read without damage. The publisher extra-reinforced the hinges to support the weight of these books.

Each volume has a gilded image on it's spine representing it's contents, for example: volume one has a gilded image of a Bird, Volume five a Moose, etc...

A thorough Encyclopedia of Natural History, filled with illustrations and plates, in VERY GOOD Condition! Leather is very supple and fresh. Hinges are 100% attached and very strong. Some light general signs of usage, else Near MINT.
