In exceptional condition, very fresh and well-preserved. The leather is very supple and fresh. All the hinges are all fully attached, but some have some abrasion along the extremities, some slight general rubs/wear. The paper is very fresh bright and clean, appears free of foxing, no writing. This is a gorgeous set.

Defoe's works are exceptionally hard to obtain, let alone in such exceptional bindings!!
