Books are in BRAND NEW, MINT condition, leather is exceptionally supple and fresh despite being over 105 years old!!
This is a gorgeous set, and displays beautifully! Books appear to have just been left in the original slipcase and have practically no wear, but for a hint of a rub. The slipcase still has the lid. Slipcase has some external abrasion and a name on the side and some general wear; but have preserved the books in MINT condition! Books have the original sewn in bookmark. Original frontisplate and tissue are fully intact, there is a whited-out name on the front blank endpaper. Spines are in absolutely flawless condition!

This is a gorgeous set, and would make an excellent gift!
