In Excellent condition. This is a particularly gorgeous set with the thistle motif. The leather is supple and these are the original bindings. The hinges are all fully and strongly attached, some appear to have been archivally reinforced. There is some general usage wear/abrasion. The text blocks are all strongly bound but many of the page gatherings are overextended, they appear to have been archivally reinforced and are therefore all intact. Printed on quality paper that is fresh with only minimal foxing. Early bookplate and name. This is a gorgeous set.

This would make an excellent gift and/or addition to any fine library.
