Very Good condition, and exceptionally well-preserved. All hinges are strongly attached: there is some rubbing and starting but all hinges are still very strongly attached, and are extra-reinforced by the underlying binding cords, as is typical from bindings from this period. Very fresh and well preserved. Near free of any foxing except for the first few pages which have foxing. The front end papers have a handwritten table of contents written in early hand from the 1800's. This is an exceptionally well-preserved set. There is some signs of general usage wear/rubs. This set is very fresh and fully intact. This is a gorgeous set and displays beautifully.

This would make an excellent gift and/or addition to any fine library.
