VERY GOOD condition; fully intact and complete. Thick leather binding, hinges are fully and strongly attached, some wear at the bottom of front hinge as shown. Quality paper is very fresh and very clean. Near free of foxing. Very tightly bound, no writing or previous signs of ownership except for an early name dated 1879. This is a gorgeous First Edition on Ulysses Grant.
