This prospectus describes treasures of the Harvard library, history, sources, cooperation of Harvard professors, 20th century idea of knowledge, Dr. Eliot's statement about the Harvard Classics, list of scholars and professors! This is an important piece of history, advertising printing on special wove paper for this edition. All 16 plates fully present + 17th plate being the frontis. Also includes: Notes, History, Layout, and an index!

Rare and hard to obtain in any condition, let alone in MINT+ & UNREAD Condition, and very tightly bound! Fully intact, clean, fresh and about free of all foxing. printed on quality paper. Numerous plates. Very durably bound and remarkably well-preserved with only light external rubs, still very tightly bound, text-block tries to slam shut when opened!! Very rare, virtually unobtainable, and even harder in this condition.
