FEATURES

Paper Check Guarantee

This is the traditional form of check guarantee.

The merchant slides a check through the reader, enters the driver's license #, approval code, and other pertinent information on the back of the check and deposits it in their bank account.

If the check bounces a claim is processed and the amount of the bounce check is guaranteed.

Several premiums are offered with this programs including “stop-payment” protection.

Electronic Check Conversion

The Electronic Check Conversion program is similar to Paper Guarantee in that it protects the merchant from bounced checks.

With ECC the merchant will slide a check through a check imager.

The check is then processed for approval and the value of the check is automatically deposited into the merchant's checking account.

The merchant never has to go to the bank to make a deposit and in a sense the check is processed just like a credit card.

After the check is imaged the merchant stamps the check “ACH Processed” and hands the check back to the consumer.

If the check later bounces, United Bank Card guarantees the value of the check just like traditional paper guarantee.

United Bank Card's check program is unique in this industry because check images are processed through UCC and not NACHA.

This allows United Bank Card to submit business and corporate checks through our Conversion program where our competition is unable to.

In addition with the expanded collection power given through UCC we guarantee 10% fewer

Program is only available to businesses located in the U.S.

Shipping: We will ship out your brand new EC6000i® Series Check Scanner along with the credit card machine of your compatiable choice from the UBC, New Jersey office within a few business days of approving your merchant and check services account.

All deliveries are made by UPS and will be shipped Ground unless other arrangements are made.

Warranty: Equipment includes a life time warranty as long as you are processing with United Bank Card.

There is a $79 annual fee for this service.

Free next day replacement of the equipment is included if the terminal malfunctions.

Standard Fees:

  Enhancement Package #1 (includes Business Checks) $5 a month

Enhancement Packagae #2 (Includes Stop Payment Checks) $10 a month

Discount rate: 1.59% Plus .27 cents per check.

If you want the multiple check program add .02 cents per transaction

There is a monthly subscription fee: $10 a month

There is a monthly minimum of $30 a month

A returned item fee (on the merchant's side) of $3

Charge back fee of $25 per item.

There is a 3 year cancellation fee of $199

Don't be misled: There are tons of ways you'll be charged. We never know what kind of a card our customers' comes in the door to use at our establishments. If it's a reward card, different charge...if you use the keyed in only process, different charge. What we've given you here is the best 1st tier discount rate, after that it depends on who comes in the door. Debit can be the cheapest way to take a transaction, plus more and more customers are wanting the security of a debit transaction. We have it set as a 0% on debit, but again, please be aware of interchange fees that are added to all of your transactions. As a reseller I want you as a long time customer, and I'll make sure all goes smooth for you, but I also don't want you to think that what's listed is all that you'll be charged on a transaction.
