This would turn on, but not stay on for more than a couple of minutes. No repairs were attempted. The only testing attempted was a visual inspection - nothing appears to be blown, bulged, or leaking. The Black "DSC" thingies seemed to get very hot while running. A Google search indicated that they were thermistors, but I am not sure, and capacitors and fuses are pretty much the extent of my repair ability. So, we put a new power supply in the TV, and here is the old one. Good luck and happy bidding!
