This is a drive that's missing a spring (PCB board that hooks up to the PS3 not included), and three UNTESTED, AS-IS lasers. We repair PS3s and were told these lasers were not reading disks, so replaced them. We do not adjust the POTs or anything else, as we consider these temporary fixes. You may be able to get one or both working just fine if you do so, at least for a while. One of the pieces on the intake on the door in the drive was missing the spring, and we didn't know if anything else was wrong with it, so we simply replaced the entire drive, including the laser. In addition, the metal housing and top magnet (the round plastic thingy) are missing (the customer disassembled it himself first). So, what you see is what you get, plus the laser inside and the additional lasers. Please buy for parts only, as it comes with NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER, and we accept NO RETURNS WHATSOEVER.
