This is an 80GB Backwards Compatible PS3. It is missing the hard drive slot cover, but the 80GB hard drive is intact. When I start it up it starts a recovery and stops on error 8002F14E. It stays on and does not appear to have power issues or yellow light, anything like that. I found it in the closet of a computer store I am taking over. As such, it is sold with no warranties and no guarantees whatsoever. Please only buy if you can fix it. My understanding is that needs a fresh firmware recovery done, but I don't have a PS3 controller and have no desire to mess with it. Remember that this appears to be in working, functional condition OTHER than the error code, but you will have to manually perform a system update recovery to get it to work, and I am not providing technical support or guarantees on how to do this process.
