A rare 18 K solid gold Swiss Locle  pocket watch with hunter case,serial number 87609,size is our size 12(40m by 30m) or 2 1/2 by 1 3/4 inches .

it is marked 'LE REY MOMO' with Locle mark on the dust cover,Le Rey Momo is King Momo in the carnival,he is the king of Carnival and the festival usually commencs with his appearance and lasts for days if not weeks . 

Neuchatel is a place in Frech speaking region of West Switzerland and this is where the gold case is  made with 18K gold stamp.

It is a sidewinder ,key set and key wind,with fast /slow movement,comes with a metal key used to set time and wind,runs for hours,no problem,but not tested for accuracy!

The key is marked patented 1874. 

The hunter case is decorated with floral design and not monogrammed (awaiting yours),inside cover said 'State Stamp of Neuchatel for 18 Carat gold 87609 30',condition very good,crystal has no scratch I can see,dial is clean of hairline crack,the movement is clean with fast /slow adjustment.

The 18k solid gold case is full of rich gold lustre,no tarnish and pitting,but minor scratch mark along the edge of the curvette.

The curvette (dust cover) is etched with 'N 87609 Le Reymono  and trademark 'LOCLE' with 2 keyholes for key operation.

Total weight of the watch is 53.7 grams.
