A beautiful sterling silver strut clock from England, made in Birmingham 1913,it measures 5 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches wide, when fully extended it is 3 inches deep/
It is made by Mark L & Co,marked with lion passante and other marks on the back which dated it to 1913,Birmingham,UK.
It is solid sterling silver with art nouveau /art deco style design with forget me not flowers gracing the top and sides.
Stem set and wind,it runs and keep good time,I have it running for hours and comparing to my digital clock,it seems to be quite accurate.
The easel operates with ease,it is made of heavy gauge silver, dial is clean with no crack lines, luminous numbers and hands, the crystal is clean ,I dont see any visible scratch mark ,there are some tarnish on the sterling silver frame to be expected as it is almost 100 years old.
The timepiece is Swiss made and measures 2 inches wide, pretty sturdy and heavy for its size. The turning knob is below the time piece and in gold tone.
Overall a rather attractive timepiece to grace your mantel, desk or shelf,it weighs 9.29 ounces on my digital scale .
