This is from the series called 'Sanju-roku Kasen.Tenpo koro fujin (36 examples of beauties:ladies in tenpo era 1830-43),customers exiting a bath house after having their hair washed. size is oban tate-e.9.3 x 14.1 inches (23.6 x 35.7 cm)

We are listing many antique and vintage woodblock prints from Meiji period.Some of thes prints have been in private household for many years and now available to the public.They may not be from Hokusai,Hiroshige,Utamaro or the toyokuni school,but they depict a past lifestyle of days bygone,interesting subjects and beautiful illustrations.
