 This brass antique reproduction optical instrument are made using heavy solid brass tubes and fittings and antique to a beautiful finish.  While some manufacturers use cheap, small lenses, this use the same high quality optics used in precision optical instruments. 

 

Our 18-inch handheld spyglass telescope. These medium solid brass telescopes are 18 inches (45 cm) long when fully extended, and are 7 inches (18 cm) long when collapsed.  This non-inverting four-pipe telescope is hand sewn leather sheathed brass antique. This version has bright 5-element ground glass optics with a powerful 12x power view. 

The telescopes are 2 ¼ inches (6 cm) in diameter with a 48 mm diameter ground glass objective lens.  A built-in sunshade extends to reduce lens flare.
