This is 1 pound bag of Roasted Chicory Root Granules. This size bag contains 16 ounces.  This chicory root is from France.  Chicory Root is often used as a coffee substitute to reduce caffeine intake.  It can also be blended in equal proportions with ground, dark-roast coffee.  

Ingredients:  Chicory Root

To make a New Orleans style coffee, blend 2/3 cup French roast coffee with 1/3 cup chicory root.  Brew in a French press, sweeten and hot milk or cream to your preference.  

This is packaged in a heat sealed poly bag with ziploc to ensure freshness and quality.
