These are great machines- I use them on repairs and on new guitars all the time. EXCELLENT tuning machines- 10mm shaft hole, small body, offset hole, smooth as butter 16:1 gearing. I can find no functional difference between these excellent tuners and the far more expensive "branded" models, right down to the little urethane bushing between the button and the tuner body
