The first printing of the New Testament in French in America was an edition of the Vulgate in 1810 (see one in my store!), from the firm of J.T. Buckingham in Boston. This Bible being sold is the first complete Bible in French and was printed by James Seymour in 1815 for the New York Bible Society. The edition was printed from sterotype plates from the London edition of 1807, a reprinting of the Paris edition of 1805 done for the British and Foreign Bible Society.   TERMS: PAYPAL.
