This is a Prime  Button  from the 1976  Presidential  Campaign of 

President Gerald R. Ford.

This 2 1/4th inch cello has a white background with a blue and red border.  In the center of the button is a drawing of a 

  Elephant holding a "not so happy" Peanut in his trunk.

On the button in white lettering, it reads:  

"DON'T SETTLE FOR PEANUTS

ELECT FORD" .

This very unique button is in  mint  condition.
