Cats have an odd characteristic: mistrustful trust. Who knows exactly what this is. They assume a far away/nearby sentinel post with such incredible tranquility, that it seems it would take an apocalypse to budge them; perhaps they’ll even emit a purring sound, as if to announce that they are not lacking some quality of congeniality at that moment either.
