DEL BAKER was the manager of the Detroit Tigers in 1933, 1936-42, and of the Boston Red Sox in 1960

DEL BAKER also was a major league catcher with the Ty Cobb "Tygers" in 1914, 1915 and 1916.

He signed this vintage autograph card in dark blue fountain pen in December, 1940.  It was part of a Boston political and baseball autograph collection that was obtained in the winter of 1940.

 

The autograph of Boston Red Sox outfielder Dom DiMaggio is listed separately. 

The DiMaggio signature is 3" x 4" and is on a somewhat thick stock of card, the type used for collecting signatures back in the day.  It has a paper clip indent on the top.
