This is the 1970 ATLANTA BRAVES ROOKIE STARS, Topps card number 621 in the 1970 Topps set.

Mike McQueen was a serviceable pitcher. He signed this card as did Darrell Evans.  The slugging third baseman / first baseman for the Atlanta Braves, San Francisco Giants and Detroit Tigers was far more than serviceable.  He wound up his playing days popping home runs into the short porch / upper deck at old Tiger Stadium as he entered his forties.  He finished up with 11 home runs as a 42-year-old back home with the Atlanta Braves.

Pitcher Rick Kester, from UCLA, was back with the Richmond Braves by the time I got this card signed in 1971.
