This would appear to be a pair of circa 1903-1910 driving gloves.  They may (or may not) have been made by the Ellsworth Thayer Manufacturing Company of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  These are antiques.  They show wear from use.  They fit my rather large hands snugly.  They are a great piece of automobilia.

They are black leather and each are adorned with an embossed "GREAT WESTERN" button on the sizing straps.

They also have 'GREAT WESTERN AUTO QUALITY GLOVES" embossed on the back near the wrist area.

They measure about 15" from top to bottom.  They are in overall nice condition and make a great collectible, display, or accessory for your very vintage automobile.

If you put your convertible top down and remove your windshield, then go for a drive on a 15-degree winter day on a rutted, frozen-mud road, you can understand why our ancestors needed to use these great gloves whilst motoring about in their horseless carriage.
