This is a CONSTANT BRIGHTNESS LED assembly for use as the headlight in the Baldwin series of American Flyer S switchers. Operates on 5 to 20 volts AC or DC power. Just solder two wires from this assembly to the two trucks (or the original lamp socket) and tape, hot glue, or silicone adhere it in place. Draws about 1/4th the power of the original bulb, and it's BRITE!

It stays on in both directions on AC power, but only stays on in one direction on DC power.

The LED is 3MM in diameter and is available in Cool White (modern look) or Warm White (incandescent look). Please indicate your choice in the notes section when you pay. Thank you.
