Lisle
lis20400 shock remover installer is a great little tool for removing
and installing shocks on most domestic cars and light trucks. A little
tip: sometimes the top nut can be seized onto the shaft and the tool
may not have enough strength to turn the nut off. This is what you do:
get a socket that fits the nut and the longest extension that you have
room for. Bend the top shock shaft back and forth until it breaks off.
Then pull the lower nuts off and replace the shock. Use the Lisle
lis20400 tool to tighten the top nut.
