Three vintage chemistry books:
Laboratory Manual, arranged to Accompany the Fourth Edition of "A COURSE IN GENERAL CHEMISTRY" by McPherson, Henderson and Evans. (These gentlemen were professors at Ohio State University.) Copyright 1928 and 1934, Ginn and COmpany publishers. Green hardback with some moderate cover wear, interior with many exercises, diagrams, charts, and blank pages for notes, but unmarked and clean. Very well bound, firm, 165 pages. Bit of aging around outer page edges, otherwise bright and clean.
An Elementary Study of Chemistry by William McPherson and William Edwards Henderson, Ohio State University (2 of the same authors as above). Ginn and Company, 1905 and 1906, revised edition. A few fingerprints, otherwise bright, illustrated, college textbook. In gray-green textured cloth with gilt lettering. Good to VG condition.
Chemistry in Industry. A Cooperative Work Intended to Give Examples of the Contributions made to Industry by Chemistry. Edited by H. E. Howe. Published by the Chemical Foundation, Inc, NYC. 1924; this the third edition, January 1926. 372 pages, blean, bright, not aged or darkened. In dark grey boards with gilt border and lettering. Boards are stained and seem to have water damage, but are flat; just spotted and dirty. With photos and illustrations throughout, including plates. Two copies of this volume are included, both with clean bright interior.
