This is a very nice copy of TARZAN AND THE CITY OF GOLD by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Published by Ace, no. F-205. The subtitle is "Peril In the Lost Land of the Lion-Gods." The startling and and strong cover art is credited to Frank Frazetta, as well as the title page illustration. Original hardback was published in 1933; I don't know the date of this paperback edition, but I think it was the first paperback and I think there was only one printing. Please double check this information if it is important to you, because I am not 100 percent sure.

This copy is very good, without tears or chips. I find no marks or writing in or outside of the book. There is a little minor edgewear at the top and bottom front edges. The spine is uncreased, and has a single light crease at the fold where it meets the front cover. The two front corners are slightly rounded. The pages show slight aging. Color on bothco front and back of the cover is nice and bright, without loss, not sunned. There is a small mark that resembles a 1/2 inch long white crease at the top edge of the spine fold, the width of a pencil line.

I am trying to be as accurate and complete as possible, but this description may not be perfect. I think in person the book presents better than this description makes it sound. It is really a nice copy of a rare title.
