Dark red cloth with black embossing and bright gilt lettering and decoration. Spine has vertical black lettering and decoration. Small wear to corners, slightly darkened boards. Interior has a few fingerprints, front hinge is weak; pages have minor yellowing. Sewn binding. 95 pages, followed by several pages listing titles published by the Religous Tract Society. \ This book has several very nice illustrations from etchings or woodcuts throughout. Publisher is The Religious Tract Society, St. paul's Churchyard, Piccadilly. Full title is The Cornish Fishermen's Watch-Night, And Other Stories.
The owner has written on the first free endpaper, with fine black pen tip, Albert Kean, A Reward From the P M T School Lydbrook 1884. No printing date or copyright is found in the book. On the rear pastedown, written in pencil in an older persons hand, is the same name with an address in Guernsey County Ohio.
