These two vintage books are in EXCELLENT condition. They look unread. I would call them 'like new' except that the pages are a little aged.

First is THE KITTEN'S SECRET by Margaret Gossett, illustrated by Mary Barton. Copyright 1950, first edition. Bright and clean, about a kitten named Butter. No. 527. Square glossy cover without damage.


Also, a very nice copy of HENNY PENNY, subtitled An Old Favorite With New Pictures. Wonder Books no. 625. This has a very small tear near the gutter at the spine base. Corners are square, very clean and bright. The front hinge is pulling at the sewn binding a little. The pages are still all tightly bound. Pages are showing some moderate aging, but have no marks or writing and retain the bright color pictures. Copyright is 1954, probably the first printing. Illustrated by James Ponter.
