Make Way For Duckings by Robert McCloskey. Originally published in 1941 and an early winner of the Caldecott Medal, this book was finally reprinted in the early 1970s. This is a copy from the 4th printing, made in 1972 from the original plates as the first printing. With the original line drawings of 1940s autos and buildings, it is as charming as ever. This is a former library copy with a card jacket in the front and some light aging at the outer edge of some of the pages. The binding is very good, no writing or dog eared pages within; clean and bright, no tears, etc. The book is a hardcover with the original publisher's lamination intact, except for one small corner. This corneris bumped. Otherwsie the boards are in very good sound condition. Published by Viking, with an 85 cent price on the front. ALso, the lamination is slightly wrinkled on the back cover. Good condition, very readable copy.
