Price: $19.99

This copy is beautiful. Original nude jacket art in excellent condition. This jacket has no tears or chips. It has some minor edgewear at top and bottom edges. Flap states jacket is by Charles Lofgren. Has small slug on flap indicating book club edition. This book is attributed to Erle Stanley Gardner, not A. A. Fair. Published by William Morrow, with copyright dates of 1947, 1948, and 1949. No printing on back panel of jacket. Title reads, "The Case of The Cautious Coquette, A Perry Mason Story, And Two Complete Novelettes, The Case of the Crimson Kiss and The Case of the Crying Swallow." Light gray hard boards with embossed red lettering titles and author on front board and spine. Rear jacket flap says only "printed in U.S.A." The Book is in near fine condition, with no writing, marks or darkening. No bumps or rubbing, it is square with very good binding, no sign of weakening or of any deterioration. Jacket is in VG condition, with the aforesaid slight edgewear. There is a possible strip of sunning on the back jacket panel, as the pink color is lighter toward the spine; this may be a printing variation, though, because there is no sunning to the spine or to the board edges. The spine has a continuation of the gray shower tile and the hot water handle of the tub.
Such an unusually nice copy of this rare book and classic cover art, if a book club.
This book is graded to the best of my ability and according to professionally accepted standards.
