Kennedy, Harry Belafonte, Margaret Mead, Eldridge Cleaver, Allen Ginsberg, Hubert Humphrey, Jerry Rubin, Hugh Downs, Joan Baez, H. Rap Brown, Nathan Glazer, Ron Dellums, Dr. Spock, Norman Cousins, and many other redoubtable persons you may or may not recall. The statements and actions of these folks are put into an excellent perspective by the author, and this is one of the more interesting, not to mention entertaining, histories of the 1960s I have ever seen.
