This is a brand new never used ceramic teapot made by the company Fox Run. This is a U.K. based company, and this item is made in the tradition of the English Brown Betty classic teapot. (This is however made in Malaysia, not a bad thing when talking teapots.) Color is a very rich deep blue. I think it's slightly darker and less purple than the photo appears to be. No chips or cracks, first quality. I paid $12 wholesale for this item. It would sell for at least $20-25 in a high end coffee house or department store. It's a medium size, about 24 ounces. This style is made to retain heat longer than most other ceramics, with thick walls, flat vented lid and a safety stle lid to prevent breakage when pouring. Made of ceramic, it will be well packed for shipping.
