Gorgeous, luxurious blue wool suit made by Talbots. I bought these pieces seperately, although they were made to go together, so the jacket is a size 18  and the skirt a size 20. Labeled Made In USA.

This is a medium weight wool with a light texture, and is very suitable for three-season wear. A classic style with a feminine cut, this suit has a number of details that make it very flattering and stylish. The jacket is a mid-length, designed to wear below the waist. There are two subtle darts in the front, and the cut is done to nip in slightly at the waist; not tight-fitting, but showing a little curve. Closes with two brass embossed buttons. Two front pockets with flaps. The shoulders have moderate padding. The skirt is falls above the knee, but isn't ridiculously short. The waistband is a narrow set in style, and closes with a hidden zipper and a metal hook and loop, also hidden. There is a single rear button trouser type pocket on the skirt, and a single rear slit. The skirt has a total of 8 small darts to give a nice fit through the waist and hips.

The pictures represent the color very well. No holes or tears in the wool or the lining. (It is fully lined with blue acetate). There is a small stain on the cuff of one sleeve.
