Welcome Spring with a Flamingo Fling!

WHAT WE HAVE HERE is a new pair of pink flamingos in their original box.

These are the genuine article, not an import or knock-off. These are made from the original molds that were created by Don Featherstone and they do bear his signature in the mold, which you will see on the birds' underside. I bought these when they went back into manufacture about 3 years ago, although I've heard that they have once again been discontinued! They have never been taken out of the box or used. Made in America by Union Products, a division of Faster-Form Corp.


They are bright pink in color and come with two bright aluminum "leg stakes" for each bird. (2 birds in this box, 4 legs or stakes total). The two birds have different postures, one with head higher than the other, so when placed together in your setting they will have the authentic look you are after. Each flamingo body is about 18 inches long x either 12 or 18 inches high, and about 4 inches thick. They are rounded and dimensional like real flamingos, not flat. The legs add another 20-22 inches of height. They will stand up about 25-30 inches tall in your garden after pushing the stakes into the ground. The eyes are a 3D yellow and black rounded eye, not painted on as in imitations. The beak is also yellow and black and very nicely done. These look good, and have many detailed feathers worked into the design as well as other nice touches. Featherstone studied flamingos extensively when he created these, which is why they are so much better-looking than imports. In pink and blue box as shown.

Original 1950s design...these are exactly the same shape and design that Lucy Ricardo would have had on display at her Connecticut place.

They are not heavy but are somewhat cumbersome to mail and cannot fit into a flat rate box. Generally they have shipped for less by priority mail than other methods, but you can choose how you want these delivered. The actual rates will be charged based on weight to your location. I add nothing for packaging or anything else.

I DO HAVE several cases of these very cool birds. I can ship 2, 3, or 4 pairs for the same price as 1. They look wonderful indoors or out, and will last without fading for years.
