Childhood was marked by terrible deprivation.  The daughter of a railway worker, she lived in a railway goods wagon, moving dozens of times, making few friends, and helping her mother raise the family while father suffered as a prisoner in a Stalinist labor camp in Siberia.  A superb student, Raisa was offered a scholarship to prestigious Moscow State University where she studied psychology under living conditions one cannot imagine today.  Read her story, one not to be forgotten!

We only offer books that are in good or better reading condition.  Our books may or may not show dust cover or page wear, highlighting, or writing in them. SHIPPING & HANDLING:  We pack and ship within 2-3 days of payment received.  We do offer a $1.00 credit toward 2^nd and each additional item and will send invoice once you request total, however combined shipping does not apply to international buyers.

RETURNS:  We want to have happy customers who will make our store one of their favorites.  Your satisfaction is important to us.  If you are unsatisfied in any way with any of our items, you can return them within 7 days for a full refund.  Buyer pays return postage.  If there is a problem, please contact us via e-Bay before leaving negative feedback.  Again, if there is any problem with an item, please contact us as soon as possible upon receipt of the item or 30 days from date of shipment.  Non-deliveries must be reported within 30 days of Shipment Notification.
