How long will it take?
Unlike oils, watercolour dries immediately so the only time factor is the time it takes actually to paint the portrait. Portraits are usually completed within 2-4 weeks of the initial sitting which might be subject to a waiting list of some months.
Deposit and order
Work will not commence until receipt of a signed order and payment of a non-refundable deposit comprising 50% of the agreed unframed price plus artist's travel and accommodation expenses as appropriate.Payment

Completion and payment of balance
The balance of the cost of the painting plus any additional costs such as delivery and framing charges are payable upon completion. If the piece is to be collected or delivered in person then payment can be made at the time, otherwise full payment is required before despatch of the piece which will not take place until payment has cleared.
Client approval
The client will have the opportunity to approve an image of the painting, either by mail or email, prior to final payment
