Stapelia lepida
Decorative Sheriff Star, Starfish Plant
The genus Stapelia consists of around 40 species of low growing, spineless, stem succulent plants, predominantly from South Africa.
A handful of species are commonly cultivated as pot plants and are even used as rockery plants in countries where the climate permits.
In warm, dry climates grow in raised beds or desert garden, low-maintenance.
Very easy to grow, it is the ideal plant for beginners.
Popular indoor plant. It likes a sunny position, so it best grows on the window sill with plenty of sunlight. Water moderately, so can booming by throughout the year.
