Up for auction are a set of 2004 P & D Jefferson Nickels with the Keel Boat reverse!
According to the guidelines of the American Numismatic Association (ANA) grading scale, I feel this coin would grade as an EF-45. The highest level of circulated coin. I don't know if these were uncirculated, so I'm calling it circulated to be on the safe side. Both these coins are in fabulous condition with mint luster still appearing.. Official ANA EF-45 criteria are:
"Slight wear shows on checkbone and central portion of hair. There is a trace of wear at the bottom of the bust. Traces of mint luster still show."
I've tried to get the best pictures I could. Take a look at the pictures and use that to rate the coin yourself.
President Thomas Jefferson took his place on obverse of the nickel in 1938 with Monticello, Jefferson's Virginia home, on the reverse. These obverse and reverse designs, both by Felix Schlag, were produced until 2003. In 2004, the United States Mint began to commemorate the bicentennials of the Louisiana Purchase and the Lewis and Clark Expedition with the Westward Journey Nickel Series™. The nickel's current design is also the last of that series.

I will start at just $.99 and there will be NO RESERVE.
I try to honestly describe everything I sell, but please view the pictures and grade for yourself. No warranties are expressed or implied in my opinion of the grades. Grading is an art, not a science. Several subjective factors of personal preference may be considered different by others. These include color, toning, strike, blemishes, and overall eye appeal. Each Bidder's own examination of the item is most important and not the grade represented by another.
Returns
I do not offer returns on this type of item. It's not like it's an item that you get and it doesn't work.
