You are bidding on a rare square with rounded corners bone china luncheon plate by ROYAL WORCESTER in the Granby pattern, made in England - IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, pre-owned with some utensil marks noted. I was unable to find anything on eBay in the Granby pattern.
Beautiful scalloped plate is outlined in gold leaf with leaves on an ecru background. The inside of the plate is white china with a floral motif in shades of turquoise, blue, purple, red, yellow, green and taupe.
Unique plate measures approximately 8.4" square. There are numerous markings on the back (see photo). Markings are "ROYAL WORCESTER GRANBY" surrounding the crown trademark symbol and "Made in England". This plate is a Limited Edition, Number "2/1556". There is also a letter "N" and a small symbol which resembles a bird in flight.
