ANTIQUE JEWELRY or CIGARETTE BOX STERLING SILVER NIELLO WITH INSIDE WOOD LINING FINEST QUALITY it has a work in Niello ,is a method of decorating metal objects using engraving techniques. alloy of silver, copper, lead, and sulfur is rubbed into an engraved pattern on silver, gold or bronze and then fired. This technique was commonly used in Europe until the Renaissance, but it was rarely utilized afterwards.
Has some scratches & dent on an edge and it is damaged the Niello decoration (no noticeable ) fully scanned
